Class Page for G Suite Teachers

User: G Suite Teachers

Accessing a Class Page

To access a Class Page, teachers should use the following steps:
  1. Sign into the JoeZoo App at joezooapp.com
  2. Click the “Classes” tab, located at the upper left of the top navigation bar
  3. Select a class tile, which will navigate to the Class Page

Located at the top of each Class Page beneath the class name are four tabs:
  • Dashboard
  • Students
  • Assignments
  • Details

Class Page Dashboard

The Dashboard tab shows teachers insights on the whole class using charts to track progress in student competencies, grades, and learning skills.

Comment Cloud

JoeZoo tracks the type of feedback given by teachers and displays it in a visually-appealing, interactive Comment Cloud (word cloud) for the entire class. Teachers give students a lot of feedback and it can be difficult to obtain data on the progress of the class as a whole and quantify common feedback that students receive.

The more often a comment is used by teachers, the larger the comment is within the Comment Cloud. Since comments are usually feedback about student competencies, teachers can use the size of each comment in the cloud to determine which competencies might need additional instruction.

Teachers can click on any comment in the cloud to see to which students received the feedback, how many times, and what proportion of the comments were complimentary versus corrective.

Grades Chart

JoeZoo is designed to make grading fast and easy for teachers, and JoeZoo does that by eliminating a lot of the manual steps in traditional grading methods.

With the Grades Chart, teachers can see whether they have graded all the students in a class or which ones they still need to grade.  Teachers will be able to see all the grades they've given and when they click on a bar in the chart, it will show which students received that particular grade.

Skill Charts

JoeZoo is designed to help each student build the Essential Learning Skills they'll need across all courses they will take, every level of education and for their career.

Teachers can click on bars in each chart to see which students demonstrated a particular skill (badge will be colored) and which students did not demonstrate that skill (badge will be grey).
